Important Sewer Rate and Billing System Updates
The Town of Ansted would like to inform our sewer customers that sewer rates have increased effective for services rendered on or after July 19, 2026. Customers can expect to see this new rate on their next billing statement to be mailed out on September 30, 2026. The complete approved sewer tariff and rate schedule can be found below.
In addition, the Town of Ansted will begin transitioning to a new sewer billing software system in September 2026. This new system will provide improved service and additional convenience for our customers. New features will be rolled out as the system becomes available and are expected to include:

The Ansted Sewer Department offers sewer utility service to residents within the Ansted city limits. Below is the application for new sewer service, ways to make payment, and the link to make online payments on existing sewer accounts.

You will need your Customer ID # to process payment. This can be found on your billing statement.
New Sewer Service Application
Residents are required to have sewer service through the Ansted Sewer Department and must sign and submit a Sewer Service Application. Deposits for new accounts are $100.
