Cryptid Crawl 2024

Cryptids intrigue us.
The idea that something exists out there, that others have seen, and that we might experience, captures our imaginations.
We want to look for the elusive and be in on the secret.
And somehow the hunt, whether or not we smell the sulfur or hear the whistle, ties us to the land.
Local lore makes locals proud.
Enjoy the hunt through Ansted, seeking some of our state’s mythical beings and becoming more familiar with the lay of our local land.

Springing into Easter Scavenger Hunt
This event will be done daily via our Facebook page starting on March 18th and running through Easter Sunday. Each day check to see which item we're looking for on our Facebook page, snap a picture and post to the comments.
More details will be posted as we get closer to the event and check our Facebook page.
April 19-20,2024
Earth Day Celebration
Join us for our Town Cleanup on April 19th from 1 PM to 4 PM. Then on April 20th join us for the Community Yard Sale & Street Eats event.
Snatch a space in the middle of town to set up tables, canopy, etc. to sale your crafts, rummage sale items, collectibles, etc. all while enjoying amazing food from local food trucks.

Annual Co-Ed Softball Tournament
This event is our biggest fundraiser that allows us to host other events at little to no cost to participants throughout the year. This double-elimination tournament is unsanctioned and just for fun! Put your team together and get registered! Due to the growing popularity of the event, only having one field, and time restrictions we will have to cap 2024 registration to eight (8) teams.

Splash Day
This event is completely FREE to attend! The Ansted Events Committee rents multiple inflatable water slides & obstacle courses and sets them up at the Ansted Ballfield for the community to come and enjoy for several hours! It's an incredibly fun event for the kids to cool off at.
Concession will sell drinks and snacks.
